He has been in the IT industry for over 3 decades. Originally working for Tandy UK the European subsidiary of Radio shack back in the late 80's. He is mainly a community man, working first with project Solo, a charity who's aim it was to get young people at risk, into the high profile sport Gliding to boost moral. He is also known for running several Public houses "Pub's" in the UK.

The interaction of Web technologies and community has always been a fascination for him, with first the old bulletin board games such as dungeons and dragons, to the emergence of social websites, and now to this new adventure the concept known as virtual worlds. He is heavily involved as the two worlds gravitate to each other in orbital decay and he believes firmly that content and community are the basis with which the convergence will take place.

He has put his business running a Pub, in the UK right in the path of this collision, and in partnership with Virtual London, has mirrored his Pub and the surrounding buildings and places of interest. From conception of idea to virtual worlds as both a marketing tool and way of bringing this inevitable unity of worlds together, he has not only created a virtual presence in second life, but has moved on to hold events that pull the two worlds even closer together.
